I have absolutely no sympathy for someone who intentionally puts themselves in a compromising situation & is surprised when they wake up in the morning to realize they made a HUGE mistake.
You made your bed, Now lie in it.

We as people, I’ve barely come to grasp sometimes expect far too much of people. We expect unconditional love, to those who aren’t like me, like us, out of people who just aren’t capable of giving it.
We expect approval from those who don’t want the best for you. We expect never ending friendship with those we thought we could forever trust from people who just haven’t matured enough to realize how imperfect humans are. Who expect us to forever walk in their footsteps & hold onto every single word they say with anxious eyes.
We expect even sometimes, that there is always hope for someone to come to an epiphany & actually do something useful & creative with their lives. Forever hoping that behind the tough exterior, there is a kind, maybe even trusting friend, or lover to emerge.
Some, I could say; Including my previous believes, thought that expecting was hope. That the two were the same, just with a different name. I’ve come to realize, that although they have the same basic structure or details, they are different.
Much like they have their own DNA. Hope in my dictionary, is the thought or desire, or goal that will present itself to us in very unlikely circumstances. Expecting is the thought, dream or goal that we almost FORCE into existence
We expect others to know every aspect of us that ourselves barely even know. But to me, that’s just hope like an everlasting candle, ready to be blown out & never to be lit again.
Some people are just so complex, that there’s always a secret detail waiting to emerge from behind their dusty wall. While others don’t have the need or even the desire to reveal themselves in a similar yet inconspicuous fashion.
You always wonder, if they even have that creativity hidden deep within. But expecting they just haven’t discovered the right outlet in which to disclose the brilliant trick under their sleeve.
